Saffron - EDOB 5/2/2024 female DSH
This ginger cutie came into our care with her leg wrapped in a splint. She was limping on both her front leg and back leg, and we feared she would need her back leg amputated. We were happy to find out her leg should heal on its own, with strict crate rest and tons of cuddles. Despite not needing surgery to repair her leg, Saffron's vet bills are well over $1700 for splint changes, antibiotics, rechecks, and radiographs, not counting vaccines, food, and other supplies.
